Uncle Bola Ige: A Celebration of Life
The Honorable Minister of Transport, Chief Ojo Maduekwe, a patron of the ALS recently hosted a special literary night in memory of our slain patron, Uncle Bola Ige. Chief Bola Ige was the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, until his assassination last year.

The event featured lots of literary tributes to Bola Ige by ALS members, including readings from his various literary works. There was also a video biography of the late patron, courtesy of Sarah Sanda (NTA).

The solemn mood of the night was brought to life by musical performances by the popular Hip hop/contemporary musicians, Six Foot PLus, RuleClean and Mode Nine. (PaybackTyme Records) The cultural troupe from the Arts and Culture Center Abuja also thrilled guests with their outstanding dance routines.
