I can't sleep well
how can I
I can't wake up, what for?
the days are so long
so tormenting
too much for the little I have to do
too much for the wahala there to face
look at them clad in Abgada and its likes
lackadisically 'parambulating'
around their so called 'rock'
showing all their teeth
like they've never wept before
hats and caps
left to me
I see as goatheads and cowheads
my sleepless nights
my idle days
that's what they should think about
but they've left us
sleeping endlessly
and earning most of the day's pay
so does it matter to them anymore
if we sleep or eat?
