The quails in the sky
Have no storms on their minds.
They sit atop a branch; spy the sky,
But never wonder why.
The trees forever sitting,
Think nothing of the blizzard
That comes around to wither
Barks that never tether.
Ants only know labour,
Where sand is seen as treasure,
And life's measure:
A home to act as shelter.
These people only know trouble
Where hearts and minds wobble,
To cry unsoothed and weather
Into pieces never to be put together.
